JOHOR BAHRU: FOR the many fans of Bollywood fashion, Nirmalah Ramah has opened Netha Fashion Enterprises, conveniently located at Econsave Supermarket in Senai, Kulaijaya.
Netha Fashion offers clothing and accessories that are imported from India and Pakistan.
These include handmade items that are very much sought after by both local and Singaporean customers.
Nirmalah said, inside her store, one will find sari, handbags, cosmetics, shawls and jewellery such as bangles, earrings and bracelets.
The 41-year-old entrepreneur said the items at Netha Fashion were also competitively priced.
She added that her store was the first to introduce the Bollywood concept.
"Our bridal accessories such as necklaces and earrings will suit all brides, regardless of race. The quality is also good and the bangles can last for over 10 years," said Nirmalah.
The store also offers henna art wedding packages at prices ranging from RM120 to RM200.
Nirmalah said the store was a favourite of tourists wishing to buy women's accessories and silk and cotton fabrics as souvenirs.
"About 90 per cent of my stock is imported. New stock arrives twice a month from Mumbai, so I can offer my customers the latest designs and items.
She has plans to expand her business by opening new branches.
"I am confident that my items have a place in the market, especially in weddings," said Nirmalah.
